Job summary

Othello Community Hospital in Othello, WA, is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join the Emergency Room team for the night shift. This part-time role involves direct patient care in a fast-paced ER, with opportunities to support admission, routine assessments, and coordination with nurses and physicians.

The position requires an active Washington CNA license and BLS certification, with at least 6 months of CNA experience.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State CNA certification is required.
• BLS certification (AHA or equivalent) is required.
• Minimum 6 months of CNA experience; ER/AC/OB experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes
• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output
• Provide basic patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures
• Support nursing and medical staff with procedures and patient care tasks
• Maintain clean and stocked patient care areas
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Ensure accurate documentation and communication across departments
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
• Responsible to Charge Nurse onsite

Othello Community Hospital is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This Full-Time Night-Shift position offers the opportunity to work in our emergency room, providing essential patient care and support in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Location: Othello Community Hospital, Othello, WA
• Departments : Emergency Room (ER)
• Schedule: 36 hours every other week (6:00 pm-6:30 am) Nights
• Set Schedule: Every other week: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with patient admission, discharge, and transfer processes
• Take and record vital signs, height, weight, and intake/output
• Provide basic patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures

QUALIFICATIONS:
