Job summary

Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting care, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• New graduates or RNs without ED/CC experience AND completion of the ED residency program.
• Registered Nurse: WA license upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 60 days.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 12 months.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course within 12 months.
• Trauma Nurse Core Course within 12 months.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Administers, oversees and documents medication administration as ordered and per policy.
• Assesses patients holistically and plans appropriate care with outcomes evaluation.
• Provides holistic, professional nursing care within scope of practice.
• Prepares patient for discharge and coordinates post-discharge needs.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and communicates effectively with diverse populations.
• Engages in professional growth and meets mandatory requirements on time.
