Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking aRegistered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care across our services in Washington. The role focuses on assessments, medication administration, and the implementation of individualized care plans within a multidisciplinary team.

The RN will monitor patient responses, document care accurately, and coordinate with physicians to ensure smooth discharge planning and continuity of care, contributing to excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license.
• BLS CPR certification.
• ACLS within 60 days of start date.
• PALS within 12 months of start date.
• ELCN/ENPC or equivalent pediatric emergency training within 12 months could be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers, oversees and documents administration of medications as ordered and per policy.
• Performs comprehensive patient assessments and implements care plans.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Documents care and patient status using the nursing process and communicates changes to the medical team.
