Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist’s ED Observation Unit in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver high-quality patient care in a hybrid, Level I trauma center setting. You will work within a 20–24 bed unit and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate care across the patient continuum.

Requirements include an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS within 6 months of hire, and

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire.
• 2 years of RN experience preferred

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
