Job summary

Dignity Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Grass Valley, CA, to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. You will perform comprehensive assessments, skilled procedures, and care planning within an interdisciplinary team to support optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires 1 year of RN experience in ED/CC, active CA RN license, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. A BSN is preferred, with a generous sign-on bonus and a strong patient-centered culture at Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of RN experience in the Emergency Department or Critical Care.
  • Active Registered Nurse license in California.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) from the American Heart Association.
  • ACLS from the American Heart Association.
  • PALS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

  • Collect patient data based on diagnosis, age, and developmental age.
  • Plan and prioritize individualized care with teaching and discharge needs.
  • Ensure patient/family participate in the plan of care addressing age-specific and cultural needs.
  • Implement standards based on assessment.
  • Prioritize and organize care within time frames.
  • Coordinate discharge steps or appropriate referrals.

  • Collects patient data based on diagnosis, age and/or developmental age. Analyzes data collected.
  • Plans and prioritizes individualized care based on the assessment, utilizing nursing diagnosis, including teaching and discharge needs of the patient and family, and sets outcome goals in coordination with other disciplines.
  • Ensures that the patient/family participates in the plan of care as able, and that plan of care addresses age-specific and cultural needs.
  • Implements appropriate standards based on assessment.
  • Prioritizes and organizes care within the allotted time frames.
  • Coordinates discharge steps or ensures appropriate referral to address timely, appropriate discharge needs.

We are offering a $5,000 Sign On Bonus to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.
