Job summary

Servpro Industries, Inc. is seeking a hands-on Restoration/Handyman to support emergency response and outdoor restoration projects in Maryland. You will work with a team, learn new skills, and help restore properties after water or fire damage.

Valid driver's license required; on-call duties including evenings, weekends, and holidays may apply. IICRC certification is a plus and career growth opportunities exist.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to work on-call shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: restoration or construction experience.
• IICRC certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction, fire damages, equipment setup, and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and all necessary supplies for each project.
• Communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment, and tool requirements with supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients, addressing concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site cleanup.
