Job summary

SERVPRO of Annapolis/Severna Park is seeking a hands-on restoration professional with handyman or construction experience. The role involves responding to emergencies, performing water and fire restoration tasks, and coordinating with supervisors.

A valid driver’s license and willingness to work on-call evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. You will load and maintain supplies and communicate clearly with clients about the restoration process and safety procedures, joining a team

Qualifications

• Previous handyman or construction experience is favored.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn a new skill and help others in a time of need.
• Comfort with outdoor work and hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency situations, including water damage, fire damage.
• Evaluate and perform restoration activities including water extraction and set-up of equipment and demolition.
• Load, inventory, and maintain work vehicles with tools, equipment, and supplies for each project.
• Effectively communicate safety hazards, job site findings, equipment and tool requirements with supervisors.
• Maintain open communication with clients, addressing concerns and explaining the restoration process.
• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks, including water extraction, drying and site cleanup.
