Job summary

Paul Davis Restoration in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a full-time on-site Disaster Response Technician to perform cleanup, repairs, and restoration after water, fire, or storm damage. You will set up and monitor equipment, conduct moisture mapping, and coordinate with property owners during the restoration process.

The role requires physical work, the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and willingness to join a 24-hour on-call rotation.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required.
• Demolition work in confined spaces and extreme temps.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform disaster response, emergency mitigation, water extraction, structural drying, and demolition.
• Set up dehumidifiers, fans, air purifiers at the work site.
• Perform moisture mapping and loss documentation using MICA and other software.
• Handle initial loss inspections.
• Remove drywall, carpets, insulation, etc. and perform general demolition after a loss.
• Complete pack-out and pack-in of customer's contents and document items.
• Serve as daily on-site contact for the customer.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call rotation after hours and on weekends.
• Drive company vehicles, including water trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
• Other duties as assigned.
