Job summary

Environmental Restoration LLC is seeking an Emergency Response Environmental Technician to be based in LaPorte, TX for hazardous waste cleanup, site remediation, and decontamination. Must be available 24/7 on call and respond within 60 minutes to the Denver office.

Qualifications

• Pass a Pre-Employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify).
• Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification. (Reimbursement Program Available).
• Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
• Lift and carry 50 pounds.
• Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following PROS – Pause, Review, Observe, Start.
• Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities with hazardous materials.
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift.
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights.
• Works with and around light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, pressure washer.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Warehouse maintenance, stock supplies, building maintenance.
• The applicant must be available for emergency response work after-hours and on weekends.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Have an excellent driving history! (Mandatory)
• Ability to respond within 60 minutes to Denver office.
