Job summary

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Emergency Supply Chain Coordinator to lead field-level supply chain operations during humanitarian responses. The role requires coordinating procurement, warehousing, inventory, and distribution, with a focus on rapid, compliant delivery of relief materials.

Fluency in English and French is mandatory. The position involves deployment to crisis areas, working with cross-functional teams, and mentoring field staff to strengthen IRCs logistics

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–6+ years of progressive supply chain experience in INGOs or emergency settings.
• Proven ability to design, implement and monitor procurement, inventory, and logistics processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of all supply chain functions during emergency responses.
• Ensure compliance with IRC GSC SOPs and donor requirements.
• Manage procurement, warehousing, inventory, and distribution in field deployments.
• Develop country sourcing strategies and emergency procurement plans.
• Lead capacity-building and mentoring of in-country supply chain staff.
• Coordinate with partners and internal teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of relief items.
