Job summary

Ambipar Response Florida, LLC is seeking a motivated Supervisor – Emergency Response Services to lead on-site teams, oversee equipment maintenance, and manage hazardous and non-hazardous waste operations at client facilities. The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and effective team leadership.

You will supervise spill response, ensure PPE compliance, operate vacuum trucks and hydro excavation rigs, and submit reports/timekeeping.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial cleaning, environmental services, and/or emergency spill services.
Ability to interpret and follow written and oral instructions.
Experience working outside in all types of weather conditions.
Detail orientated with strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a dynamic work environment.
Strong organizational skills and communication with customers, regulators, and managers.

Responsibilities

Supervise industrial cleaning and maintenance at client facilities in accordance with company, state, and federal requirements.
Adhere to and enforce company safety standards and procedures.
Supervise and perform spill clean-ups with PPE.
Use vacuum hose to remove sand, sludge, oil, water, and various liquids and solids.
Supervise small team performing industrial, environmental, and emergency spill services.
Ensure crews perform preventive maintenance checks and report defects.
Assist operators with safe operation and maintenance of vacuum trucks and hydro rigs.
Create and submit all required reports and timekeeping.
Ensure safety and PPE compliance on site.
