AMR is hiring a Paramedic Basic for a full-time position in Trenton, TN. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE, reflecting EMS pay scales.

You will assess calls, use defibrillator and monitoring equipment, provide advanced care, and drive the ambulance on 911 responses while coordinating with healthcare and public safety teams.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Paramedic License required (paramedic level).
• State Driver’s License required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Clean driving record per policy.
• Ability to pass Physical Agility Test.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Assess call situations and determine best course of action with paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Act as paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.

• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• State Paramedic License
• State Driver’s License
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record in compliance with company policy

• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
