Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position. You will assess calls, deliver advanced medical care, lead scenes, and drive ambulances on 911 responses as part of our community EMS programs.

Minimum qualifications include a State Paramedic License, a valid Driver’s License, and BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications. Hourly pay starts at $21.50 with DOE; expect team collaboration and field leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must have State Paramedic License, State Driver’s License and current BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic certifications.
• GED or high school diploma required.
• Driving record must meet company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best course of action per Paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to explain care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.

Other Responsibilities:

• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.

MinimumRequired Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)

• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare
