Job summary

Delco Pa seeks an Operations Specialist within Civil Defense's Special Operations Section to provide subject matter expertise and coordinate field operations for county deployments. You will deploy equipment and teams as directed by Emergency Management and partner requests.

You will also train staff in your area of expertise and manage data and tracking systems for deployments, calendars, fleet, and grant paperwork, serving as the primary coordinator for team files.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Extensive data management and reporting experience.
• Familiarity with Emergency Management or response.
• Pennsylvania driver’s license in good standing.
• ICS 100, 200, 700, and 800.
• Emergency Vehicle Operations Certificate (EVOC).

Responsibilities

• Track resource requests (Daily Task).
• Maintain equipment, fleet, and volunteer records (Daily Task).
• Maintain mandated deployment records per grant, local, state, and federal requirements (Daily Task).
• Train, coordinate, support, and work with volunteers and paid partners (Weekly Task).
• Attend required meetings and represent the Department as SME (Weekly Task).
• Support deployments and messaging (Monthly/PRN).
