Job summary

Advantage SCI, LLC in the Washington DC metropolitan area is seeking an Emergency Response/COOP/Safety Specialist to support a federal security program. The role is on-site and may deploy to an Emergency Relocation Site for exercises or incidents.

Responsibilities include developing and delivering training, coordinating emergency planning, and evaluating COOP programs, with reporting and stakeholder communications. The candidate should have a Top Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Top Secret clearance.
  • Minimum of one year emergency response/COOP/safety experience.
  • Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalency.
  • A minimum age of twenty-one years.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Working knowledge of the Incident Command System (ICS).
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver Active Shooter program training and CPR/First Aid coordination.
  • Create, revise, disseminate, deliver and track emergency plans and awareness programs such as Occupant Emergency Plan and COOP.
  • Conduct COOP program evaluations monthly and annually.
  • Analyze emergency response data and prepare reports using standard methods.
  • Train Occupant Emergency Plan team on radio use and procedures.
  • Coordinate the Annual National Emergency Preparedness Event with agencies.
  • Prepare briefing notes and distribute to stakeholders.
