Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Clinical Therapist for Emergency Response/Early Childhood in Cuyahoga County. The role requires licensure (LSW/LPC/MFT or higher) and a master’s degree, with experience serving young children and families. duties include individual, family and group therapy, crisis intervention and coordination with community partners.

Qualifications

• LSW, LPC, or MFT license or higher with related educational requirements.
• Master’s degree from an accredited program.
• Experience with young children and families preferred.
• Knowledge of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseload.
• Deliver emergency response early childhood mental health services to children birth through age 6 and families within 24 hours of referral.
• Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients, families and community providers.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes and ensure compliance with agency guidelines.
• Collaborate with Invest in Children and other systems to ensure timely access to services.
