UF Health Jacksonville seeks a Respiratory Therapist II for our new freestanding emergency department opening January 2027. You will provide respiratory care and life-support services in a fast-paced ED, assessing patients and delivering treatments alongside physicians and nurses.

As a lead therapist when assigned, you will manage airway and oxygen therapy and support NICU patient care as needed. This role emphasizes high-quality care in a brand-new facility serving the Intracoastal community.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license; BLS required.
• Less than one year of critical care ventilator management experience; hospital setting preferred.

• Provide respiratory care and life-support services to patients in an emergency care environment.
• Assess patients, administer respiratory treatments, manage airway and oxygen therapy.
• Support patients requiring advanced respiratory intervention; may serve as lead therapist when assigned.
