Destination Pet LLC is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) for our urgent care and emergency team at our Westminster/Colorado location. You will work at the top of your license, providing anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and patient-nurse support to deliver high-quality care.

We offer a clear career ladder, paid CE opportunities, and competitive wages ($28–$32 per hour). Flexible scheduling includes 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts with weekend rotations.

We are a well-established, full-service small animal hospital with a legacy of excellence in Westminster. Our state-of-the-art facility features eight dedicated DVMs and a passionate support team committed to the highest standards of care. We are dedicated to staying current with the latest advancements in diagnostics, medical treatments, surgical procedures, and preventative wellness. We provide top-of-the-line medical, surgical, and dental equipment, as well as an in-house IDEXX laboratory and diagnostic ultrasonography.

Your Role – Clinical Driver & Leader

As a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you will be encouraged to work at the top of your license and serve as a clinical leader, ensuring medical excellence with a patient-first mindset. We follow AAHA utilization guidance consistently. You will primarily utilize your skills in:

• Anesthesia & Analgesia: Full IV catheterization, multimodal pain management, induction, and advanced monitoring/recovery.
• Dentistry: Full-mouth dental radiography, charting, and periodontal therapy (per DVM direction).
• Diagnostics: High-quality radiography/positioning, in-house lab analysis, and sample collection.
• Nursing & Triage: Critical patient monitoring, advanced wound care, and managing catheters/feeding tubes.
• Workflow Leadership: Leading tech appointments, team huddles, and mentoring assistants/externs.
