Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced nursing leader to guide development, ensure safe and high-quality patient care across locations, and drive operational performance in a complex clinical environment.

You will supervise staff, collaborate with physicians and health teams, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards while advancing care delivery models and practice standards in multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in patient care delivery.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and minimum five (5) years of experience in business operations, clinical health care, or related field.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
• Basic Life Support required at hire.
• Registered Nurse License (California) required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates and manages development opportunities, builds cross-functional relationships, and coaches teams to improve performance.
• Translates business plans into tactical actions; ensures policies and procedures are followed and resources are aligned.
• Oversees hospital administrative functions, budgeting, reporting, and compliance across departments and service lines.
• Manages care delivery operations in a 24/7 environment, partnering with physicians and service area leaders to ensure appropriate resource utilization.
• Leads cross-functional strategic projects to improve quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Delivers safe, high-quality patient care and ensures compliance with Nursing Practice Act, TJC, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborates with Nursing Clinical Practice to ensure staff compliance and optimal patient care.
