Job summary

Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role with comprehensive benefits and a flexible schedule.

Under the direction of management, you will provide safe, competent nursing care, lead the healthcare team, and ensure service excellence. Current Texas RN licensure (or compact) is required; BSN is preferred. The position supports professional growth and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the State of Texas, or compact required, BSN preferred.
• Five years experience in acute care supervisor or managerial position.
• Must maintain all clinical competencies for area of supervision.
• Current RQI BLS, ACLS and PALS, certifications. TNCC required on hire
• Must maintain all additional certifications required by area of supervision.
• Clinical certification in area of supervision preferred (i.CEN, TCEN, etc.)
• Must be clinically competent in area of population served.
• Must demonstrate knowledge and ability to work effectively with all levels of personnel.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess critical thinking skills and sound decision making and problem solving abilities.
• Must be service excellence focused (strong customer service and team building skills).

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a management council member, plans, organizes, directs, and supervises department programs.
• Ensures service excellence development, personnel management, and resource allocation and control.
• Assumes direction of participation in special projects as needed.
• Coordinates hospital-wide compliance with state and federal regulations.
