Job summary

Penn State Health Hampden Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to partner with the Nurse Manager to ensure department operations are carried out and to contribute to staff development in a busy inpatient unit.

Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring, supervising staff, helping with budgeting, policy development, new employee orientation and ongoing education, and leading quality improvement programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing or Associates Degree in Nursing and a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing to be obtained within two (2) years of hire.
• Three (3) years of related experience
• AHA BLS obtained prior to end of orientation; Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the Interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.

Responsibilities
