Job summary

Corewell Health's Gerber Hospital in Fremont, MI is seeking a part-time Nurse Technician to support the Emergency Center. This 24-hour weekly schedule includes day shifts, with two shifts per week and every third weekend.

You will take vitals, monitor blood sugars, assist with bathing, ambulation, wound care and catheter care, and serve as a safety attendant to patients under RN supervision. Corewell Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, on-demand pay, discounts, and retirement

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required within 90 days.
• Ability to take vitals and assist with patient care.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vitals and blood glucose.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient mobility.
• Provide bedside care and maintain a clean environment.
• Support RN with patient safety and routine tasks.
