Job summary

MultiCare Health System in Tacoma, WA is seeking a staff RN to join our hospital-based team. This role uses your nursing training in a multidisciplinary setting to deliver care with a patient-centered focus. Shift: 12-hour nights (1900-0730) with alternating weekends.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Washington State or MLS
• BLS Certification required
• ACLS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification as required by facility
• Nursing specialty certification preferred
• One year of acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis
• Use nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families and staff
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds
