MultiCare Health System in Tacoma is seeking an OR Staff RN to join a hospital-based team. The role involves organizing patient care, applying nursing processes, and collaborating to improve care quality in a multidisciplinary setting.

The ideal candidate has a BSN or higher, valid WA RN license, BLS, and relevant acute-care experience. Evening shifts, call coverage, and opportunities for professional growth are offered at Allenmore Hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five years from hire date.
• Advanced degree in Nursing (MSN, PhD, DNP, ARNP) preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
• Current BLS Certification required.
• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility.
• One year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process per hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health-care team members.
• Advocate for ethical and holistic care advancing autonomy, dignity and health of diverse patients.
