Responsibilities

The Emergency Nurse provides, coordinates, and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally.

Current California RN license required
One (1) year of experience in the Emergency Room, or a related field of nursing, is required
Current BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications required (must be certified through the American Heart Association)

Preferred

Two (2) years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Room or a related field
Current MICN, ENPC, TNCC and CEN certifications
