Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Massachusetts is seeking an RN for direct patient care in the Emergency Mental Health department. Qualifications

• Must hold Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS certification is required for every RN unless ACLS is current.
• BSN is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment per standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates individual care plan including discharge planning.
• Directs, supervises, coordinates and evaluates nursing care in the assigned setting.
• Documents patient care per standard procedure.
• Participates in education and development of staff and quality improvement initiatives.
