Job Title: Emergency Medicine Virtual Care Physician

Join Wellstar Health System as an Emergency Medicine Virtual Care Physician.

Facility: Wellstar MCG Health, Inc.

Location: Remote (States: AL, FL, GA, NC, SC, TN, VA)

Skills and Qualifications

• Comfortable caring for patients of all ages across various settings including ambulatory, inpatient, ER, critical care/ICU, and home-based care.
• Ability to manage short-term and episodic care, including emergency department and critical care consults.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams and utilizing telehealth/digital communication tools.
• Active medical license in one of the specified states.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide virtual care and telehealth services to diverse patient populations.
• Coordinate with specialists and manage transfers as needed.
• Serve as a consultant in ER, inpatient, and critical care settings.
• Collaborate with provider and administrative staff within and outside Wellstar Health System.

Experience and Shift Details

• MD/DO degree; experience in Emergency Medicine and Critical Care preferred.
• Willingness to treat a wide variety of patients in multiple settings.
• Expected shifts of 12 hours, including day, night, weekends, and holidays.
