Job summary

Tandym-Group is seeking an Emergency Medicine Technician for night shifts in Davenport, Iowa. The position supports a Workplace Health & Safety team and requires BLS certification and EMT/Paramedic credentials or equivalent military medical experience.

Shift: Nights (6pm–4:30am), Sunday to Wednesday. On-site occupational health setting with CPR/AED training and potential holiday/weekend coverage. Competitive hourly pay USD25–USD30.

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved ECC provider.
• EMT or Paramedic cert, or 6 months military medical experience, or Athletic Trainer cert; willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED within 3 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver first aid care and refer employees to external medical providers as needed.
• Support workers’ compensation and return-to-work programs.
• Maintain accurate records of care and submit end-of-shift reports.
• Provide coaching on at-risk work behaviors and ergonomic practices.
• Attend safety committee and case management meetings.
• Maintain medical supply inventory and a clean treatment area.
• Participate in CPR, First Aid, and AED certification training sessions.
• Respond to on-site emergencies and provide critical care.
• Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as required.
