Qualifications

• Responsible and mature demeanor with a passion for medicine.
• Strong writing skills.
• Fast and accurate typing speed.
• Experience with medical terminology, human anatomy and human physiology is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk and follow a physician for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a stressful and fast paced environment.
• One (1) year commitment at this site, continuous one year, not a summer position.
• Excellent follow through.
• Self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for physicians and health care providers in clinical settings.
• Gain experience in clinical documentation and medical terminology.
• Work one-on-one with physicians and health care teams.
• Assist with scribe testing and application processes where applicable.
