Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to lead patient care using the nursing process within applicable standards. You will delegate and support licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality outcomes and culturally competent care. This role emphasizes leadership, teaching, and collaboration across disciplines.

Required: RN license, BLS, CPI within 30 days, ACLS and PALS within 90 days. BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus available. Must be able to work on-site in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• CPI Certification within 30 days of hire.
• ACLS within 90 days of hire.
• PALS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in the delivery of patient care.
• Assesses learning needs and implements teaching strategies for diverse groups.
• Communicates, delegates, and manages nursing team resources on interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilizes data and knowledge to evaluate and improve outcomes.
