Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is required.
• BLS, CPI, ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within specified timelines.
• Certification in a clinical specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively uses the nursing process in delivering patient care.
• Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for diverse patients and families.
• Communicate, delegate and manage nursing team resources with the interdisciplinary team.
• Utilize data to evaluate and promote changes for optimal outcomes.
• Support patient satisfaction and employee morale and improve nursing practices.
• Adapt care to diverse patient populations with attention to privacy and communication.
• Performs other related duties as required.
