Commonwealth of VA Careers seeks an enthusiastic Emergency Medicine physician to join Virginia Commonwealth University Health System as an academic PRN Attending. The role supports patient care, teaching, and research within a Level 1 Trauma Center.

The position emphasizes clinical care in the ED, supervision of trainees, and active participation in education and departmental projects. Board certification in Emergency Medicine and an active Virginia license are required.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Virginia Medical license or ability to obtain.
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency within 3 years (or documented recent activity).

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care in the ED, supervising trainees and non-physician staff.
• Teach core curriculum to medical students, interns and residents; participate in ACLS/PALS/ATLS.
• Identify and participate in departmental research projects and quality initiatives.
• Attend department meetings and participate in relevant committees and activities.
