Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• Active Virginia Medical license or ability to obtain.
• Completion of an Emergency Medicine Residency within 3 years (or documented recent activity).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ED, supervising trainees and non-physician staff.
• Teach core curriculum to medical students, interns and residents; participate in ACLS/PALS/ATLS.
• Identify and participate in departmental research projects and quality initiatives.
• Attend department meetings and participate in relevant committees and activities.
