Sound Physicians is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join the Aiken, South Carolina team, offering a patient-centered, collaborative practice in a high-quality ED setting.

Provide coverage for Aiken Regional Medical Center's 30-bed ED and the new 10-bed freestanding ED at Sweetwater, in a 273-bed community hospital with chest pain and stroke center capabilities.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Work with a friendly, cohesive team of 16 physicians and 9 APPs at Aiken Regional Medical Center and in the ER at Sweetwater.
• Join a diverse team with a broad spectrum of expertise and experience.
• Engage in hospital committees, including credentials, medical executive, sepsis, peer review, and citizenship committees, to contribute meaningfully to the organization's success.
• Accountable, on-site leadership: a local medical director who knows the community and owns the department's performance, supported by Sound's leadership-development tools.
• Stable, well-staffed teams: cohesive teams aligned on our patient-first culture of excellence, which means less reliance on premium temp labor and more predictable shifts.
