Job summary

Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, seeks an Emergency Medicine Physician in Sacramento, CA to lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, no-nights schedule with Monday–Friday daytime hours and dedicated training in wound care.

Ideal candidates hold an MD or DO, possess or qualify for an unrestricted state license, and can participate in performance bonuses. Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $300,000 per year for full-time work.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted medical license in the state of practice or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No wound care experience required; comprehensive wound care training provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide wound care and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities.
• Perform debridement and bedside procedures as part of routine care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage post-acute patients.
