Job summary

Highpoint Health – Sewanee with Ascension St. Thomas in Sewanee, Tennessee is seeking a full-time Emergency Medicine physician to join the ED team as an independent contractor.

The role includes 24-hour physician coverage, Meditech EMR, flexible scheduling, and a supportive network within a national provider. Board-eligible in EM, FM, or IM is required, with ATLS/ACLS/PALS certification.

Qualifications

• Must be board-eligible in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• EMR: Meditech is used in the ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality emergency care as part of the ED team.
• Work as a full-time physician with 24-hour coverage.
• Join a national network with risk-management support.
