Job summary

TeamHealth seeks an emergency medicine physician to join the ED team at Southern Tennessee Regional Health System in Winchester, Tennessee, located between Nashville and Chattanooga. This independent contractor role offers 24 hours of daily physician coverage and 12 hours of APC coverage, with an annual volume around 19,000 and about 1.7 patients per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be board-certified in EM, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine with ATLS, ACLS and PALS.
• Independent contractor status with TeamHealth acceptable.
• Strong commitment to high-quality emergency care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality emergency medicine care in the ED.
• Cover 24 hours of daily physician staffing with 12 hours of APC coverage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in CME/education opportunities.
