Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a full-time emergency department physician to join the Highpoint Health – Sewanee team in Sewanee, Tennessee. You will provide safe, high-quality patient care on a continuous 24-hour ED schedule within a national network.

Board-eligible in emergency, family, or internal medicine is required, with ATLS/ACLS/PALS certifications. Meditech is the ED EMR, and physician liability tail coverage is included in the contract.

Qualifications

• Board-eligible in emergency medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• ATLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• EMR: Meditech available for documentation and orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality patient care in the ED.
• Staff 24-hour physician coverage as part of the ED team.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
