Job summary

MD Staffing Services is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide clinical coverage at the Whiteriver Indian Health Service Hospital ED in Whiteriver, AZ. This is flexible, as-needed coverage with 12-hour day, mid, and night shifts.

Shifts are typically scheduled 3–4 months in advance, with the opportunity for ongoing coverage through September 2029. Federal/IHS facility setting and dedicated recruiting support are included.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license or ability to obtain prior to start.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct emergency medicine care in the ED.
• Evaluate, diagnose, stabilize, and treat acute illnesses and injuries.
• Work day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage as needed.
• Coordinate with hospital staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with credentialing.
