Job description

Seeking a BE/BC physician to join our Emergency Department team. The facility is well-equipped with the latest in emergency health technology and designed to best serve the 28,000 patients the Emergency Department sees annually. The ED includes:

1. 16 private treatment rooms, with two designated as trauma/major medical
2. Excellent diagnostic imaging and laboratory services, including digital portable X-ray with bedside imaging available in as little as 23 seconds
3. State-of-the-art cardiac monitoring system with stat 12-lead EKG
4. Advanced technological headboard design
5. Negative Pressure Room
6. Fully-equipped decontamination area
7. A 24/7 laboratory staffed with degreed medical technologists capable of performing almost any lab test in-house

We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. The base salary for 12 shifts in a 4-week period is $496,080, with incentive pay for night shifts and shifts worked beyond the 12 in that period.

The area is underserved, and we accept J1 and H1B applicants. Located within the Delta Regional Authority, there is no limit on J1 waivers, and no waiver application deadline.

About the Facility:

Join an accredited regional referral facility serving approximately 180,000 people across nine counties in south central Missouri and north central Arkansas. The medical staff includes over 100 physicians, evenly split between primary care and specialists.

We provide a number of services not typically available in rural areas, including strong programs in interventional and non-interventional cardiology, obstetrics, pulmonology, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic, and general surgery. The hospital also offers medical and radiation oncology services and extensive outreach programs.
