Job summary

Skilled Wound Care in Washington, DC is seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to join as wound care specialists across skilled nursing facilities. This role offers a no-call, no-night schedule with a Monday–Friday daytime pattern, enabling regular sleep and family time while applying ED skills to wound management.

You will perform debridement and bedside procedures, manage chronic wounds, and participate in advanced dressings and protocols.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited institution.
• Unrestricted state medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• DEA license or eligibility to obtain one.
• No prior wound care experience required; training provided.

• Average Annual Earnings: 200,000–250,000 (no earning cap as an independent contractor)
• High Achievers: Top performers earn $300,000+ through performance bonuses
