Emergency Medicine Physician - St. Charles Hospital Emergency Department

Join the team at St. Charles Hospital, a community hospital with a rich history and modern facilities, located in Port Jefferson, NY. Our Emergency Department handles approximately 18,000 visits annually, with 27 beds and a 23.9% admission rate.

Key Features:

• Staffing includes 24-hour physician coverage and 12-hour APP coverage
• Utilizes Epic EMR system
• Qualifications: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• Accreditations: ACEP Geriatric Bronze, JCAHO Gold Stroke Center
• Upcoming ED expansion in August 2024 and new Cardiac Cath Lab in 2025, affiliated with St. Francis Hospital
• Low-risk sepsis mortality metrics
