TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time associate medical director to join our leadership team in the emergency department (ED) at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel, New York. This 21,500 volume emergency department offers 24 hours of physician coverage and advanced practice clinician coverage daily.
The associate medical director of the emergency department (ED) will play a pivotal leadership role in enhancing the quality of patient care, optimizing operational performance, and collaborating with EMS and nursing staff to improve patient outcomes.
This position involves overseeing quality initiatives, managing medical student rotations, and fulfilling the responsibilities of director of emergency medical services (EMS) for the county. The associate medical director will also assist in resolving administrative concerns and support the facility medical director (FMD) in key strategic areas, including quality improvement and educational initiatives.
Qualified candidates should be board-eligible or board-certified in emergency medicine with leadership experience.
Competitive compensation with an estimated salary range of $225 to $235 per hour, with opportunities to earn incentives.
