Job summary

AMN Healthcare is sourcing an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support in Georgia. Start date ASAP with shifts ranging 6 am–5 pm, 11 am–10 pm, and 7 pm–6 am. EMR: Expanse. Annual volume approximately 31,000–35,000 visits.

The ideal candidate is board eligible/board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM), with BLS, DEA license, and active Georgia medical license. 30 hours of APP coverage daily provided; back-up staff available.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM).
• Active Georgia medical license.
• Current DEA license.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medicine care for locum tenens assignments.
• Support coverage with APPs (30 hours daily) as per posting.
• Work 11-hour shifts including 6am-5pm, 11am-10pm, 7pm-6am.

This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual volume: Approximately 31,000–35,000 visits annually
• Physician shift times: 11-hour shifts: 6 am-5 pm, 11 am- 10 pm, 7 pm- 6 am
• NP/PA Coverage: Yes – 30 hours of APP coverage daily; 10-hour shifts
• Back-up specialties available: Normal Emergency Room support staff
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Expanse
• Certifications required: Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine (ABEM), Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA), Active Georgia Medical License.
