Position: Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Start Date: Sep 23, 2024

End Date: Ongoing

Shift Details

Our shifts are 8 hours long, with the following shift times available: 5a, 7a, 8a, 9a, 10a, 1p, 2p, 3p, 4p, 5p, 8p, 9p, 11p, and 11:59p.

Support and Resources

• Full support staff in Triage
• Access to specialty backup with 24-hour MRI/CT availability
• 24-hour STEMI team, Stroke Team, and ED psychiatric services

Facility Details

Level 1 Trauma Center with over 95,000 annual ED visits, featuring a 70-bed ED and an 11-bed pediatric ED unit.

Qualifications

• ACLS, ATLS, BLS certifications required
• Must have completed an ED residency program and be board-eligible or certified by ABEM or AOBEM
• We cannot accept Family Medicine board-certified physicians without ED experience or fellowship in ED, due to Level 1 Trauma certification requirements.
