Facility in Springfield, MA seeking PA-c EM locums coverage Rates : $120 / hr Position Details

• Schedule : Flexible ongoing shifts
• Setting : Emergency Department
• Beds : 44-bed ED
• EMR : Epic
• Team : Always 2 physicians on shift; fast track staffed by APPs
• Supervision : Supervising physician always onsite
• APP Autonomy : Yes
• Support Services Available 24 / 7 : Radiology (CT, MRI, X-Ray), OR, Lab, Anesthesia, Blood Bank (AABB certified)

Clinical Environment

• Fast Track Volume : 40% of total ED volume
• Daily Transfers : Minimal (1 2 per day)
• Referral Center : Saint Francis (STF)
• Call Response Time : 30 minutes or less per hospital bylaws
• Hospital Admissions from ED : 15%

Requirements

• Board Certified PA Required
• Massachusetts State License Required
• BLS / ACLS Required
• Minimum Experience : No new grads
