We are seeking a Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician in Ohio.

Position Type: Locum Tenens

Rate: $263/hour
Shift: 8a-8p, 8p-8a (Varied Shifts)
Start Date: June 2025 (Exact Dates TBD)
End Date: Ongoing

Position Details:

• Patient Population: Emergency Medicine
• Setting: Freestanding Emergency Department
• Responsibilities:
  • Provide emergency medical care
  • Manage codes in the ED
  • Coordinate patient transfers to tertiary trauma centers if needed
• Required Procedures: General Emergency Medicine Procedures
• EMR System: EPIC
• Support Staff:
  • APP Shifts: 9a-9p & 5p-5a
  • Hospitalist team manages admissions at Gallipolis main site
• Days Per Month: Minimum 5 shifts/month (Preferred: 8-10)
• On-Call/Weekends: No On-Call, Weekend shifts required

Requirements:

• Board Certification: ABMS/AOA IM/FM (Can be double boarded ABPS)
• Ohio State License: Required (IMLC not accepted)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS, NRP
• Experience: Minimum 2+ years recent Emergency Medicine experience
• COVID Vaccination: Required
