Job summary

Statushp is hiring physicians for its Emergency Department team at MercyOne Oelwein Medical Center in Oelwein, Iowa. Candidates can work full-time, part-time, or as PRN staff. Responsibilities include managing a daily patient volume and providing critical care in a Level IV trauma center.

The ideal candidate is board certified in Emergency, Family, or Internal Medicine with necessary certifications. Previous experience in Emergency Medicine is required.

Qualifications

• Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• Current certifications in ATLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
• Previous emergency medicine experience is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients in the Emergency Department.
• Manage a daily patient volume of 8 on weekdays and 20 on weekends.
• Handle inpatient emergencies, typically 1-3 cases.

• Max Shift Length: 48 hours
• 1099 independent contractor
