Job description

We are searching for a residency trained Emergency Medicine Physician for a private, democratic, emergency medicine residency trained group. The emergency department sees over 40k visits/year. It is not a trauma center. (Our medical staff does not include neurosurgery, CVT surgery or plastic surgery.) Trauma is transferred to nearby trauma centers ranging in distance from (25 mins-1.25 hours). Approximately 60% of ED patients are admitted to hospital. The group is comprised of six providers and employ one full-time PA for the fast-track. They desire seven partners to be fully staffed. The group works 9 hour shifts (7a-4p, 3p-12a, 10p-7a), 145-150 hours/month per physician. They do their own billing. The group is looking for recently-trained ABEM B/C physicians. ABEM Grand-fathered physicians will not be considered, nor will PCP boarded physicians. Candidates are not required to live in the community. Health and dental are part of the package as is a 401K with matching. Partnership is available to the EM physicians. There is a two year partnership track. Buy-in is reflected in the buy-out.
