Job description

Seeking BE/BC Emergency Medicine Physician to join a talented team in northern Vermont.

1. Typical schedule is 12 shifts per month, generally including approximately 4 shifts from 7a-7p, 4 shifts from 10a-9p, and up to 4 shifts from 7p-7a. A scaled-down schedule is available for months with vacation, if desired.
2. The Emergency Department is staffed exclusively by physicians.
3. The nursing staff is required to have BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and ENPC certifications.
4. Our facility is a 25-bed designated Critical Access hospital with approximately 16,000 patient visits annually.
5. Medical staff includes three General Surgeons, one Orthopedic Surgeon, and a full-time Hospitalist program with OB/Gyn and pediatrics on-call.
6. Diagnostic imaging, laboratory, and transportation services are available on-site 24/7.
7. Electronic Medical Record: Cerner Community Works.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary: $200/hour for day shifts and $236/hour for night shifts.
