Job Opening: Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician at Ocean Care Center

Ocean Care Center in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, is seeking a Nocturnist Emergency Medicine Physician.

Position Profile:

1. Annual ED visits: 20,000 (including 3,000 - 4,000 pediatric cases)
2. Number of ED beds: 12
3. Coverage: 24-hour physician coverage with 12-hour shifts
4. Patient volume: Low acuity and volume after midnight
5. Support staff: Scribe and Advanced Practice Provider coverage until late evening
6. EMR System: EPIC EMR
7. Status and Benefits: W2 employment with comprehensive benefits package

Ocean Care Center is a satellite emergency department of Ocean University Medical Center, providing exceptional emergency treatment delivered by trained physicians, nurses, and technicians. It has similar capabilities to traditional EDs, excluding trauma, equipped with necessary personnel and emergency equipment. As part of the Hackensack Meridian Health System, it benefits from system-wide resources. The system has achieved the Magnet Award for Nursing Excellence and is JCAHO accredited.

Located in Ocean County, Point Pleasant Beach and Point Pleasant are approximately one hour from Philadelphia and New York City.
